Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY). It is also known as Prime Minister Youth Training Program. This scheme was launched by the Government of India in July 2015. Under this scheme, it was planned to provide training to one crore youth by 2020. The objective of this scheme is to provide employment to such people who are less educated or drop out of school. In this scheme, registration is done for three months, six months and one year. Certificate is given after completing the course. This certificate is valid throughout the country. The main objective of the organization is to organize all the youth in the country, enhance their skills and give them employment according to their abilities. Under this scheme, 24 lakh youth will be covered in the first year. After this, there is a plan to take this number to 40.2 crore by 2022. Apart from this, so that more and more people can join this scheme, there is also a facility for the youth to get loans.

For this work and to connect people with this scheme, the government has associated many telecom companies with it for this work. These mobile companies do the work of making this scheme accessible to all the people through messages. Under this scheme, mobile companies will message the people associated with the scheme and give a free troll number on which the candidate has to give a missed call. Immediately after the missed call you will get a call from a number after which you will be connected to the IVR facility. After this, the candidate will have to send his/her information as per the instructions. The information sent by you will be kept safe in the system of Kaushal Vikas Yojana. After getting this information, the applicant will be connected to the training center in his area i.e. near his place of residence.
